The Hydrant Cafe

Soo I'm back in action. I've been to the Hydrant before with Laurenlove and I loved it we pretty much spent our afternoon rockin out to the piano. And props to totally awesome music I don't even need my iTouch. Oh the owner kinda kooky but funny, don't take him seriously. He just accused me of smoking a joint and asked if he could join... Anywaysss if you're lookin for a place to chill with the gang, this is the place to go. Now the sign above the staircase that reads something along the lines of "We know your curious, go take a look upstairs" sounds suuuper sketch but seriously check it. The first time I came here I was like the only one here at the time and Lauren Bear was going to meet up with me so I cautiously tiptoed up by my lonesome, praying I wasn't going to get gang banged. But the view from upstairs was a pleasant surprise, the distressed wood floors with all the mismatched armchairs are both groovy and comfy and it gives off this retro vibe. Also this is like the best time of day to hit this place up I'm sitting by the window and could seriously fall asleep under the warmth of the sun. Now if you don't have friends, then come here and read! Super calm and quiet most of the people downstairs are talking but upstairs you can separate yourself from the world.

Sweet pics...

See if you don't know what to expect, then kinda creeps!

Dear Good Ol' ATX...

So Alex Yap informed me today that I haven't blogged in like forevsies. So sorry. Here you go world..

Sooo this past weekend I totally went to see one of my dearest friends, Kara Endsley, in the beautiful town of San Marcos. Let's just say, one of the best weekends everrr!

Shout out to Kara: we totally started to become best friends Sophomore year when I sat next to her in Mrs. Garcia's English class and she like commented my outfit like everyday. That year I decided to join our drill team, the Rrrraiderettes! Where we along with Jenna, Beryl, and Lyndsee all became attached at the hip. We literally spent every waking hour together from school, to Beryl's house after school, to driving around Walmart with a mega phone screaming at people, to spending our weekends dressing up like freaks and hitting up the town. We were quite a bunch. Anywaysss senior year we became Captain Kara Endsley and Social Officer President Anna Sales. Best year ever. Kara and I became annoyingly close. Thankfully even though we're apart in college, once you get the both of us together again you're in for a treat. Here are some pictures from our weekend:

Aimlessly meandering through Austin...

Haha this is what we did on Saturday nights

So yeah. San Marcos. We totally partied every day. Like I said best weekend ever. However, this post is titled 'Good Ol' ATX'. Well on Saturday we decided to go to Austin for the day and meet up with old friends aka the Timmy Eckl, and driving through I noticed freaking awesome looking coffee shops on every corner. Umm badass! So I've decided I'm totally going to Austin after I finish my Denton coffee shop run. I just love ATX. What a city. Haha Kara and I definitely know the city well after waking up early Sunday morning with a hangover walking like freaking miles away to the car. Me in my freakin boots with heels. We seriously went through a forest. For all those Jersey Shore watchers our journey was along the lines of Snooki's "Where's the beach!?" ordeal... So hopefully I will be up and at another coffee shop soon, but don't forget I'm still a poor college student!
